Does Oundle have a prep school?

Yes. Laxton Junior School, which from September 2027 will become Oundle Prep, is our day school for children from Reception to Year 6 and forms part of the wider Oundle School community. It provides a natural pathway towards senior school, while continuing to prepare pupils for the school that is right for them, whether Oundle or elsewhere.

Admission to Oundle Prep is separate from admission to the Senior School. Families considering Oundle from 11+ should follow the relevant Senior School admissions process.
