What are electives?

Electives are a key part of Oundle’s co-curricular programme and run during “Vols” time on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Pupils can choose from a wide variety of activities across five themes: creativity, culture, intellect, physical activity, and spirituality and service. There are four six-week elective rotations during the year. Pupils are expected to commit fully to each course – attendance is registered and many electives can contribute to DofE skills or support personal projects.
