Open Days at Oundle are deliberately kept small and personal. We don’t host large-scale events or herd visitors through staged experiences — we believe the best way to get to know the School is to see it as it really is, on a normal School day.
Held on Saturdays during term time, our Open Days begin with a welcome from the Head and the Admissions team. Families are then shown around by current pupils, experiencing the rhythm of a typical day — including visits to lessons, where staff are always happy to pause, chat and answer questions.
As part of the visit, families explore one or two Houses to get a sense of where their child might feel at home. A relaxed lunch follows, with plenty of opportunities to meet key members of staff, including Heads of Department and the Leadership Team.
To finish, families are warmly invited to join us pitch-side to watch the afternoon sports fixtures and experience weekend life at Oundle.
