What does the admissions process involve at 11+?

11+ Entrance takes place in January of Year 6. Pupils sit papers in Maths, English, Science and a Cognitive Ability Test. There is also an interview – a chance for us to understand the whole child, beyond academic results. For boarders, this includes an overnight stay to experience the excitement of boarding life. We offer Entrance Exhibitions at this stage and we’re proud to support families through means-tested bursaries. Early registration (by the end of Year 5) is recommended to allow for a personalised and well-supported journey.
