Our identity as a school is shaped by our full boarding ethos and the opportunity it offers pupils - day and boarding alike - to live, learn and grow together throughout the week.
In term time, we are either all here or all away — we don’t operate a system where some pupils go home at weekends while others stay behind. This shared rhythm creates real continuity and connection across the School community. It allows friendships to deepen, House life to flourish and weekends to feel purposeful and social, not just a pause between weekdays.
It also means we can genuinely think of all seven days as part of the educational experience. Whether in the classroom, on the sports pitch, in rehearsals or simply spending time with friends, there is space to grow — and time to take part in all that Oundle has to offer.
