      What is the admissions process for Year 9 (13+) entry?

      Most pupils join Oundle in September of Year 9. Offers are typically made in Year 6 following registration and a reference from the current school. Confirmation of places then happens in Year 8 via one of three routes:

      • Oundle’s own Entrance Papers (January, Year 8)

      • Academic Scholarship (February, Year 8)

      • Common Entrance (June, Year 8)

      International pupils follow a similar process, sitting Entrance Papers in January of Year 8. Registration ideally takes place in Years 5 or 6 to allow time for a thoughtful admissions journey. We always recommend visiting Oundle in person to get a real feel for the community.
