Trivium is a bespoke course created by Oundle teachers especially for Oundle’s Third Form. There is no set syllabus – instead, it is based on ‘interestingness’. It invites pupils to explore new ideas, cultural moments and unfamiliar perspectives, simply for the joy of learning. Topics might include the history of the Olympic Games, Italian cinema, mindfulness, protest music or surrealist art. It is a space for curiosity, creativity and conversation – encouraging pupils to think broadly and independently.
